Can you reply to questions and link articles that aren't from Apple Support?
I was wondering if it was "allowed" to link articles or other websites than Apple Support when replying to a question.

It's really too difficult to be exact plus the fact that we are all other users here and are not familiar with all of the "do's and don't's" of what the hosts consider acceptable (or not).
Also depends on what they are: if they contain things that would violate the rules, then it may be removed. Ditto for sites where you'd have a financial gain unless you add a lengthy disclaimer. But, linking to, say, a recommended and reputable site that sells RAM for instance (such as macsales.com or Crucial) is no problem. Do-it-yourself (fixit) sites will be removed since Macs are not considered user accessible (except for RAM in 27" iMacs).
Oh, and any photos or images containing private information (or being irrelevant) will usually be removed.
In any case, you'd learn by experience - all of us have had posts or links removed - you will get an email from the hosts telling you why it was removed.
