External monitor issue (M1 macbook air)

I am using a MacBook Air connected to a Dell monitor (p2721q). When connecting to a monitor and running various apps, screen flickering and ghosting appear severely.

The same issue occurs even when connecting via USB-C to C or Displayport to Displayport (by Caldigit SOHO dock).

Intel chipset series MacBook Air (all big sur 11.2.1) and Windows 10 desktop did not find this problem. I also have a video of this issues.

Hello sungmoo258,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

We understand from your post that you are experiencing screen flickering and ghosting on your external display that is connected to your MacBook Air (M1). Does the same thing happen when you use the Thunderbolt or USB 4 ports?

Use external monitors with your Mac - Apple Support

"If you're using a Mac with Apple silicon, you can connect a single external display to your Mac using one of the Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports."

Also note if your monitor is an ultra wide display you may not have access to some resolutions as this article explains:

If the supported resolution isn’t available on an ultrawide or super-ultrawide external display connected to your Mac with Apple M1 chip - Apple Support

Best Regards.
