I am using a MacBook Air connected to a Dell monitor (p2721q). When connecting to a monitor and running various apps, screen flickering and ghosting appear severely.
The same issue occurs even when connecting via USB-C to C or Displayport to Displayport (by Caldigit SOHO dock).
Intel chipset series MacBook Air (all big sur 11.2.1) and Windows 10 desktop did not find this problem. I also have a video of this issues.

Does the same thing happen when you connect the external monitor directly to the MacBook Air without using the Caldigit SOHO dock? If so, this article has steps which may help:

I have two Dell P2721Qs in my lab, so I tested them and the symptoms were the same. It hasn't been completely resolved, but after the Big Sur 11.2.2 update, I don't see any symptoms yet.

Connecting via USB-c to c means that it is connected directly with a thunderbolt cable.
Displayport to Displayport means that it is connected with Caldigit SOHO dock.
The problem is not being solved.
Testing with another monitor of the same model.

We understand from your post that you are experiencing screen flickering and ghosting on your external display that is connected to your MacBook Air (M1). Does the same thing happen when you use the Thunderbolt or USB 4 ports?

I'm experiencing the same issue with my M1 MBP 8GB and my Dell P2721Q (I'm using the cable that came with the monitor, which is connected directly from the Mac Thunderbolt/USB-4 port to the monitor USB-C port). Most of the time, the flickering/ghosting occurs on the external monitor, but sometimes it occurs on the built-in display as well.

After the Big Sur 11.2.2 update, I thought that the problem was solved, but it returned. I already update to 11.2.3 and the flickering/ghosting persists.
The problem hasn't appeared yet, but it could happen again. I have to wait for the next update. thanks a lot!
