how to make a tick deduct an amount on numbers

I am quite new the this so can any one help me,


I have set up a spreadsheet on numbers and am trying to set up when clicking on a tick box is there any way that it can automatically deduct the value from a running balance ?


really hope that I have worded this correctly !!

Here's a sample table and formula from a similar question withing the past week or so.

Rows 10 and 11 have been set as "Footer rows".


B10 contains the formula SUM(B) which sums the total bills in the column.

B11 contains the formula shown below the table, which subtracts the paid (checked) bills from that total.

Replace B10 in that formula with SUM(B) if yu do not need or want a cell showing that total.
