Advice on configuring macOS server - El Capitan
Hi,
I'm trying to put to use an older macmini server, running El Capitan.
The mac mini is equipped with an ssd but also has a Pegasus Promis R4 storage bay attached over thunderbolt.
The thunderbolt disk array contains only a single 8TB mechanical drive.
The 8TB drive is set up as a sharepoint in macOS server app, and webdav access is enabled.
I would specifically like to use webdav for use with DEVONtechnologies DEVONthink as in this way this can use webdav storage to sync between various macs and iOS devices.
Now I'm not a specialist, but I realise that:
- webdav will use Apache
- Apache is present on macOS independent of macOS server
When I try to connect using webdav I get the typical "There was a problem connecting to the server "IP-address" message.
A look at console shows:
I, [2021-02-24T14:15:34.322080 #3754] INFO -- : Caught SIGTERM
I, [2021-02-24T14:15:36.049171 #5968] INFO -- : Starting mapper

So I'm in doubt as to whether macOS server is using my intended storage location, being the thunderbolt connected harddrive.
Any pointer to how to properly configure webdav in this configuration?
Thanks for helping out!
