Apple Watch Exercise ring

Recently when I exercise I turn on indoor walk on my Apple Watch. The timer counts correctly. Today I stopped at 52 minutes everything looked correct but when you go into the rings it says that I exercised for 1 minute. This is the 5th time it has done this. How do I fix this?

Activity not tracking for exercise I bought a new Apple Watch, Series seven. My calorie ring and stand up ring are closing no problem but for my exercise it always just get stuck at six minutes. With my job I always close my ring and sometimes even Double my goal. I tried everything I could find online to check if my settings need to be changed. Or any other suggestions?

my apple watch isn't closing my exercise ring even though I started and ended a workout. how do I correct this? I noticed that recently when I start and end a workout on my Apple watch it does not close my ring. It captures the specifics during the workout but just not for the sake of closing the ring. example I did an indoor walk today for 35 mins and the green exercise ring has zero.
