Hi. HomePod Mini was bought ~ 1 month ago. It was on the SW 14.3 and Handoff functionality worked with two iPhone 11 at home. After HomePod Mini was updated to 14.4 Handoff functionality stopped working. Tried to reset (3 times), reboot (dozen times), change WiFi SSID and router as well, still nothing, it's not working. At the same time, the manual sound switch is working. Seems like the 14.4 update broke my U1 chip functionality.

So here is the thing!
I'm exactly having the same issue described above except for the fact that after updating my ( HOMEPOD MINI ) to IOS 14.4, it is still working on my Iphone 8 with IOS 14.1 installed. Whereas on my Iphone 12 Pro Max, it is not working till date since I updated my phone to 14.4.
Conclusion: Homepod mini doens't have a problem when its on IOS 14.4. It is the Iphone and specially the newer ones the 12 series that is having this issue. I've spent almost $1500 just on Iphone 12 Pro Max and buying 2 Homepod Mini's. Apple has no idea how I'm feeling right now. Wish Steve was here :(

But iPhone 8 doesn't have a U1 chip inside, how it's working with iPhones below iPhone 11?
I will need to think about where to find iPhone with U1 on iOS 14.3 to test it.
Or the alternative option will be to test with a different HomePod Mini.
I have iPhone 12 Pro max 3 HomePod mini’s 2 I run stereo in my living room and 1 in my bedroom, the bedroom I just got today, because I got that is why I realized handoff isn’t working. I really like that feature and I hope they get it fixed. It was definitely working last week before I updated to 14.4
