You should not need macOS drives from Canon to Air Print.

For Canon's Air Print setup instructions and Drivers for Big Sur if needed.

Hi,

A driver from the following support page?

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mg-series-inkjet/mg2920/pixma-mg2920?tab=drivers_downloads

You may want to begin by resetting the printing system.

Reset the Mac printing system to solve a problem - Apple Support

Add a printer on Mac - Apple Support

Check whether the operating system automatically suggests a suitable driver.

If there is a problem with USB, try a network connection (via a Wi-Fi router).

Unfortunately, the MG2900 (MG2920) does not appear to be mentioned in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model supporting the driverless AirPrint technology.
