why has my macbook displayed this?

Why has my macbook started to display this message? I have no idea what this means and have never seen anything like this before.

Until recently, the default shell := command-line interpreter/executer was bash shell. The Mac has now changed to using zsh shell instead.


Most users will never even notice the difference, but for those who might notice, they are providing a "heads up".


The appropriate action for almost everyone to take is to completely ignore this message.
