This started happening week or so ago. I have not dropped the phone other than slight drops between my car seats and once on a carpeted floor - and my phone is in a protective case. Took to a Best Buy who ran diagnostics and determined that it was a "focus" issue and nothing to do with the hardware.
Any ideas?
Sorry its crooked. No time to readjust, but you get the idea. Lines are coming from the right side of the lense.

Thanks for the reply! Turns out it was a hardware issue with the 2x camera. It was fortunately still under warranty and I was able to take to the Apple Store where they replaced the lense free of charge and it works just fine now.
Note to anyone who has this issue - it was the first time they had seen it and were able to fix it in a few hours.

We see from the attached photo that there are lines and discoloration originating from the right side of the photo.
To clarify, is this issue repeatable? Meaning in various lighting situations there's always a noticeable line or set of lines and color distortion when using the 2x zoom?
Also, as this is a recent occurrence, do you recall any changes to the phone prior to the issue starting? Does it persist if you take a moment to clean the lenses with a soft clean cloth? How about if you take the case off and then take a photo?
