“Ask to buy” feature for kids accounts.
I want the feature “Ask to buy” to apply only to apps that you need to pay for. I don’t mind the kids downloading free apps. How can I set it up so I’m only asked to approve apps that charge the account?

I don't think it works at that level of detail. It is probably designed with thinking of monitoring the type of app a child downloads. They are probably thinking more along the lines of age suitability in addition to cost.
