Shadows along screen edge on new iPad Pro 11"

About a month ago, I purchased an 11" iPad Pro, purchased from an Apple store. It's only been gently used during that time, but in the last week or so I've begun using it more intensively for art. I've noticed a series of evenly spaced shadows along the left edge of the screen. They're fairly subtle, but noticeable on lighter background. I've never owned an iPad before -- is this normal? Is it something I should be concerned about or have Apple address? I'm under warranty and also have AppleCare+. Image below.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

As illustrated in you image, the backlighting is uneven - potentially due to a problem with the screen diffuser.

Given that you iPad is new, with a warranty, you would be best advised to return the iPad to your retailer for repair or replacement.
