Recently, my iPhone calendar has become synced with my google calendar and I now see everything on my iPhone calendar. How can I “unsync” them? iPhone X.

Go to settings>caledar>accounts. you can delete and add accounts from there. in your case, you want to turn off calender for your gmail
Thank you for the response. When I do this, the only option is to delete the calendar off my phone. I don’t want to delete it, I just want to use it for a different purpose.
