MacBook connects to network but not to internet. Help!


MacBook Air 11″, macOS 10.15

Two Thoughts:

  • Create a New User:

Try creating a new Administrator User. Perhaps settings need to be made to your current user.


  • Boot into Safe Mode:

In Safe Mode, login items do not open, and damaged system file (i.e. caches) are often fixed:

  1. Boot Up: [Hold Down: shift key upon boot]
  2. Log in: as same user
  3. Wait: 30 seconds
  4. Restart: the Mac
  5. Boot: Normally
  6. Try this once more.
