Idvd download

Good day.

I have a MacBook Pro 8GB.

I have a project of video in iMovie and I want it to transfer and burn that video on dvd. My problem is I can't find way how to download that application?

I would like to know how to download IDVD?

I hope for your early response regarding this matter

Here's some processing items to consider: follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:

Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.

To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it.  If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.

Then burn the disk image to disk with Disk Utility at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality.  Always use top quality media:  Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.

This applies to any DVD authoring app that you use.

Unfortunately, iDVD will not operate on your operating system. It is a discontinued app that has been becoming increasingly non-functional. High Sierra was the last system under which it worked. Now, with the 64bit current operating systems of Catalina and Big Sur the 32bit iDVD app is completely incompatible.

However, there is a DVD authoring program called DVD Creator by peng guiping that is available for $14.95 at the online app store. You might consider getting that program and see if you like it. There are others out there as well. So, you would share out your iMovie project to your desktop and then drag the movie into whatever authoring program that you buy. Then burn it on a DVD burner (external or internal) on a DVD-r disc at 4x speed.
