Unable to watch dark scenes in movies, videos, picture. Need Immediate Help.

Hi. I am using a mid 2014 macbook pro retina display (13 inch). When I watch movies or videos or even look at the desktop background of my macbook for that matter, all the dark scenes are completely dark. I cannot see the detail of the scenes if it is shot in a dark place like say at night. So please help me, I have tried all the colour profiles but none of them works to fix it. I created a guest account and there this problem is not there. Seems that there is a Hidden profile that it is applying only to the main account. Please Help

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Hi Amiko_XFX,

Re: Too dark movies!

There's a page here where someone solved it ... scroll down to:

What Solved it for me:

... to simply return the Contrast to "Normal" position

... read the "How to".
