No matter what I set the Apple TV screen saver to, within a few days it will go back to the distopian aerial screensaver. Forums says this has been a problem since at least 2019. Anyone know why this happens and what the fix is?

It sounds like the Apple TV screen saver changes to a different setting randomly. We're happy to take a look into this with you.
We have information here about the Aerial screen savers on your Apple TV
You can also hide different Aerial themes. Go to Settings on your Apple TV, then tap General > Screen Saver. Select Themes. You can select which ones you'd prefer to see there.

Thanks for your response. Some of that is useful - I have reduced the number of aerial themes shown by hiding Cityscape.
However I believe you have mistaken my issue. In General >> Screen Saver >> Type I have removed Aerial and selected Apple Photos >> Nature. Aerial is NOT selected. My problem is that within a few days, my choice of Apple Photos will be changed and Aerial will once again be selected without my having changed it.
Anyone know why Aerial is always reset despite setting to Apple Photos instead?
