Creating Install Disk, Keep Getting "Error erasing disk error number (-69888, 0)"

I have tried all possible fixes to above error (closing out Finder window and DiskUtility app.

No luck with PNY 64GB stick. However, trying with Lexar 16Gb stick and it did erase. Says "Copying to disk", but sticking @ 0%. Not optimistic., though maybe it is progressing very, very slowly.

I've tried installing from an internet disk recvovery, but it keeps erroring out. I took some screen shots of the disk utility info. I called apple support and they had me do exactly what I'd done on my own and then told me I'd have to go to an apple store to have it fixed. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I get an error when I try to reinstall after erasing the disk. Is there another way to accomplish install? I get an error when I try to reinstall after erasing the disk. What do I do now.

I keep getting an error message when I try erase my disk. I tried turning off and then on again but keep getting an error message I keep getting an error message when I try erase my disk. Somehow I deleted... using a USB-C hub between MBP and 2.0 sticks. Wondering if that might be part of the problem.
