Replacement MacBook Screen

Hello! I have a brand new 13 inch MacBook Pro, and I have a 3 year Apple Care Plan. Well, I left my MacBook open for probably 2 minutes, and my cat started scratching the screen. Does anyone know how much it would cost to get the screen replaced with Apple Care? The screen works just fine, and the laptop runs very well, but it just isn't the most visual appealing thing, especially since I've had it for less than two months. Lastly, I'm a college student and I need my computer to do online classes, so I was wondering how long I would be without a laptop getting the screen replaced?

I know I have seen other discussions where Apple has sometimes not agreed to do reduced cost replacement for what was considered largely cosmetic damage. If possible you should take it to a store for assessment so you are not met with any surprises.

It’ll probably take at most 7 business days. I had a keyboard repair and it took 7 business days. The price? It varies.
