Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad compatability

Hi there

I currently have an iPad Pro 12.9 inch 1st generation (model A1652). I would like to buy a stand and a separate keyboard for it and was looking at the Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad (British English).

On the Apple Store app under Tech Specs it shows that it should work with any device using iOS 10.3 or later (mine is running 14.4). However under Compatability the list does not include the iPad Pro 12.9 1st generation, only the 3rd and 4th generations. Does this mean that this keyboard definetely will not work with this iPad? I had read elsewhere that just about any Bluetooth keyboard would work.
