Iphone 12 pro max little whole between in back and frame

Hi I recently purchased a iphone 12 pro max about week ago and i noticed a tiny little hole between in glass back and metal frame? Is this unusual? Do i have to return this?

No. It is cosmetic and a case would cover it anyway.

The frame is painted and maybe it got chipped.
