When adding songs to playlists from Apple Music, I keep getting "To add songs and playlists to your Library, you must use Cloud Music Library." And then the option to Merge Library. I'm using Apple Music and I click Merge Library, but doesn't work.

Usually Apple does things better than other companies. But why are they failing so hard with Apple Music? Spotify is so much easier to use.

I have turned off the Sync Library option and turned it back on, but that didn't help either.

Very frustrated.

I ended up doing the following and it seems to be working:

Turned off Sync Library in Preferences
Quit Music
Went to my Music folder inside of my Home folder in the Finder
Deleted the iTunes folder and Music folders (I didn't have any non-Apple Music in there that I cared about, but anybody else should use caution).
Restarted Music and turned on Sync Library again.

After it synced my playlists again, I was able to add music from Apple Music to my playlists. Shouldn't have to be an advanced user to use Apple Music!
