I recently update my iMac to Big Sur 11.2.2 and found that I can no longer stream movies from Amazon Prime or Netflix while using Firefox version 86.0. (Everything worked fine when I was running Big Sur 11.2.1) However, I can view videos on Amazon Prime and Netflix if I am using Safari on my iMac???
Does anyone have any idea as to how I might be able to correct this issue, so that I can run Firefox 86.0 with Big Sur 11.2.2 to be able to stream movies again?

While I did not go into Time Machine and try restoring Firefox back to version 85.0.2 as you had suggested... I did go back 10 days in Time Machine and tried to restore Firefox 86.0 for a second time. (Yes, this attempt went further back than my initial attempt.) As a result, this seems to have corrected my issue.
So, indirectly, you did provide me with the solution to correct my problem.

Did you restore Firefox 85.0.2 from a Time Machine backup and does it allow the streaming that you need?
Yes, I restored Firefox from Time Machine and still had the same results.
After having restored it with no positive results... I uninstalled and removed Firefox from my system and did what I believe to be a fresh reinstall.
After finding that both the restore from Time machine and the new re-install did not work... I did a "refresh" of Firefox using the Firefox "refresh tool"... and found that it also did not work. :(
I just re-read your message asking if I had restored Firefox 85.0.2 from Time Machine... "I did not". When I restored Firefox I did so using 86.0... as it had been working properly with Big Sur 11.2.1 a day earlier.
FWIW, I can not only stream from Netflix and Amazon Prime with Firefox 86.0 on Big Sur 11.2.2, but I can stream them at the same time. I don't know why it's not working for you.
