British - PC layout keys swapped since Big Sur update.

I have a PC Mattias Mini Quiet Pro keyboard with a UK layout connected via USB through a dongle. Up until the Big Sur update I was able to use this without issue by adding the a 'British - PC' keyboard to the Input Sources section of the Keyboard setting.

However, since the Big Sur update (currently I am on 11.2.1) the '`' key and the '\' have swapped positions. This means that my keyboards input no longer matches the image shown on the Input Source menu. The '`' key should be to the left on '1' and the '\' should be to the left of 'z'. Does anyone else have this problem, know if it is a bug or have a workaround?

P.S I understand I could swap the keyboard caps over...but I don't want to. ;)

Here are some other ideas for fixing the keyboard type problem:

In the end you can also make a custom layout with Ukelele which switches the keys back the way you want.

Thank you for the link to keyboard problems. Upon deleteing my Keyboard.plist file as suggested in the article; the keyboard identification tool came up on next launch. After this determined that I was using a Euro ISO keyboard I am now able to type the keys from the OP correctly, as well as switch keyboard types when I use the Macbook Pro keys.
