Since I upgraded to macOS Monterey my keyboard keeps changing from British to British - PC. Why is this happening? I change it back and then for some reason or other it changes back at some stage to the incorrect setting.

Many thanks Tom. There were the two entries there, British and British - PC for some reason or other, and I've deleted the latter and this seems to have sorted my problem - the keyboard menu item seeks to have disappeared.
Go to system preferences / keyboard / input sources and make sure that there is only one item on the list, and that the name of that item is British.
