Hi there,
In your screenshot, we see that both the cellular data and the Wi-Fi signal are not at full strength. The reason you would want to try a stronger connection is that the connection may not be strong enough to use all the features. Once you are connected to a stronger connection, try clicking on Get Started, choose your selections and see if the selections you made go through. If this does not work, try signing out and then sign back in. Please note that this step will remove all offline content and you will need to download them again. If you have not updated your devices, be sure to try that along with all the steps in the links we previously sent.
Hope this helps!
Hi there,
Were you able to sign out and then sign back in? If not, let's try that first. Then, once you’ve signed back in, Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music to see if this resolves the issue. As mentioned previously, doing this will remove your offline content and you will need to download it again. As for the Listen Now feature, check out Listen to music and more in the Apple Music app for more details on this.
Have a great day!
Hi there!,
Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. Currently, there are no issues listed in the Apple Server Status page. However, you can try to Restart your iPhone to see if the issue persists after a refresh. If the issue persists, try connecting to a strong Wi-Fi connection to see if the connection may be an issue. Here are a few steps to follow If you can't connect to Apple Services.
Hope this helps!
Thank but the problem is only on the listen now page. Music and internet is working fine.
I figure it is a setting or permission but cant find anything related.
I should also mention the “listen now” on the phone has a getting started button. I tried to complete it by selecting genres and artist but it takes me back to the getting started.
Im sure it is related.
Not sure why everyone is stuck on a connection issue. But tested it again with full wifi and it still doesn't work. In the car I’m not going to get wifi but if I can stream music than I obviously have a connection.
Truthfully I don't even know what the listen now is suppose to show. Apple music is so confusing. I wish I could just click browse then select a genre and listen to music.
Im not sure how to sign out of music on iOS. However you mentioned Library Sync. I have this turned off as I do not like any of the music in my itunes library, and apple music would start playing them when i connected to car play. I had deleted the Music app for almost a year because of this.
if the “listen now” has something to do with personal library then I will just ignore that feature.
