Scan Error Message com.apple.imagecapture error 4294957394

Here's how Epson Support solved the scanning problem with my Epson WF-3720 All-in-One:

"In response to your concern, please be advised that ICA Scanner Driver for Image Capture for MAC OS 11 Big Sur is not available for your printer. You may want to use Epson Scan 2 application to be able to scan. Please download the Scanner Driver from our support site.

1. Turn off your printer.
2. Go to the Epson support website (US or Canada).
3. Search for your product or select it from the list.
4. Select Downloads tab.
5. Download the Scanner Driver and Epson Scan 2 Utility v6.4.96 (WF3720_EScan2_6496_NA.dmg).                           
6. Launch the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
7. When you're done, you may need to reboot your computer to complete the installation. Answer ID: 21403
8. Open Epson Scan 2 and try to scan."
