Does erasing all content and settings also remove data synced with iCloud on the iPhone?

I erased all settings and content on my iPhone before trading it however, I forgot to sign out of iCloud beforehand. Although, during the time of erasing the iPhone, I do remember being asked to provide my Apple ID in order to turn off Find My iPhone. I also went to Find My iPhone and removed the iPhone from my list of devices after erasing it. I wanted to ask that after erasing my iPhone, will my iCloud still be present on the phone and all the data synced with it? Or erasing completely removes everything (not from the cloud of course, but from the phone)? I just wanted to make sure that any of my personal data is not left on that iPhone for the next owner to see.

Once you did Erase All Content and Settings, the iPhone is like new out of the box.

All data will be zero out.

The iCloud data is still there on iCloud but not on that device you've erased.

When you have a new iPhone, you can sign in with the same Apple ID and password, the iCloud data will then auto sync back to the new device.

Hello! I wanted to clarify that I did not erase my iPhone remotely. I did it physically, but after selling it, I removed it from my iCloud devices list, as it was the only option I had, since I forgot to sign out of iCloud first. Anyways, am I still good to go?

It sounds as though you completed the appropriate steps to fully erase your device and remove it from your Apple ID. Provided your iPhone was online and the erase completed successfully, it will be in factory new condition, so that the new owner can sign in with their Apple ID.
