I got most of my contacts wiped out. I log on my apple account on my pc and restore my backups. this problem happens to me everyday. i have the icloud “contact” button switched on.
this all happening to me for no reason or nothing is changed in my phone or icloud settings.

If you don't see your contacts listed on the iCloud website, by chance do you have any other email accounts signed into your iPhone? If you do, let's check if your contacts may be syncing with another email account with the steps listed here: Use other contact accounts on iPhone - Apple Support
