When adding a title to a project I change the font and it changes back

I am trying to change the font on a lower third title. When I export it the font goes back to the original font. When I restart FCPX the font has reverted to the original. I've tried restarting several times, and resetting defaults to no avail

The font is rigged (hard to find, but it is in Title Style) and so is the text size. It will always revert to Helvetica Neue Bold each time you restart fcpx.

I removed both of those and fixed a small glitch in the background logo where, if you changed the alignment from right to center or left, the background logo would "stick" at the last location (and the only fix I could find in FCPX was to reload the drop zone *after* setting the alignment). With my "fix" the "logo" still sticks when changing the alignment until the playhead is moved, then it will snap into place.

Actually, AR Transforms went with another discussion thread. There's an explanation for it here:

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252526100?answerId=254762768022#254762768022

AR Transform was "borrowed" from an effect bundle (Always Reflective) and that's where the "AR" comes from. It is, however, a general utility effect that I include with other effects I make. It's basically the same as the regular Transform functions except you have access to effects masks, which I find more convenient than using a separate Shape Mask (or Draw Mask) effect.

It's still posted because I don't know if the original person it was intended for actually ever downloaded it.

That's interesting. There are titles in that "family" that have the font controlled by a rig, but this is NOT one of them.

I exported using "Libertinus keyboard" font, and it came out with this font (I chose to make sure it looked very different from helvetica - each character appears to be in a key cap).

Screenshot from Quicktime Player:

I suggest you try deleting render files and exporting again.
