has anyone else had issues with the iPhone 12 Pro Max with it ringing even on silent? I have not been able to fix this issue and have tried everything

No Stiven, you have NOT tried Everything. If that iPhone is ringing even when the SILENT SWITCH is set to ON then you need to return it and get it fixed under the Apple 1YR Limited Warranty (US). Once you do that then you have tried everything.
Have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center. If they are closed then Please contact ➔ Apple Support
