So when I was leaving my desk, I accidentally swung my robe at my MacBook and it hit the display! So far, there is no visible damage or scratches, but could a robe hitting a MacBook bend it in any sort of way? I heard a sound when it hit, too. If it is damage, how much would a repair cost? I still have my warranty. And for extra information, I am using a Early 2020 MacBook Air.

The MBA aluminum case is very strong. If it closes flat then it should be OK.

Unless you purchased Applecare, the regular warranty does not cover cosmetic or accidental damage. Have Apple evaluate it to checkif it needs anything.
