iPad 8th Gen or iPad Air?

My daughters birthday is coming up. She can’t decide whether to get the iPad 8th generation with the 128gb or the iPad Pro with the 64gb. She has asked everyone for money and so this will be her only real present so I want to help her as much as I can to make sure she picks something that will be good for her needs. She’s hoping to use it for school work so Google classroom, drawing apps (with the pencil at a later date) then maybe Roblox Tik Tok etc. Which version do you think will be best. I worry the memory on the iPad Air won’t be enough!

The 2020, 10.2 inch screen, 8th gen iPad is now sufficienty powerful enough to do practically anything.

Get the 128 GBs storage model.

It has a practical, usable internal data storage space of approx. 110 GBs.

Where a 64 GBs iPad model only has an approx. practical, usable internal data storage space of 50 GBs.

Also, the 8th gen iPad uses the original, 1st gen Pencil with the silver, chrome top and magnetic Lightning connector protective cap.

Purchase a third party Pencil magnetic cap holder as most 1st gen Pencil users tend to lose this cap easily.

These cap holders can be easily found on Amazon.

Purchase a good, protective case for this iPad.

She may need a keyboard for that iPad for school.

Consider Apple's smart keyboard cover and this protective back case from Cover Buddy.

i think iPad 8th gen will suffice her purpose cuz it also packs the powerful chip and supports Apple Pencil....also if you consider the price of iPad with accessories(pencil+folio+keyboard) u can get it all with iPad 8th gen even less than the cost of iPad Pro.

for school and multimedia purpose 8th gen iPad will serve the purpose...I hope you will find it helpful.

also with mask on, Touch ID is more relevant than Face ID today.

wishes for your daughters future and birthday
