Unable to verify update on Apple Watch. Not connected to the internet.

Hello. Anyway, I can’t update my wife’s Watch 3 from Watch OS 7.1 to 7.3. I have tried everything suggested from Apple and various internet forums including resetting her iPhone SE 2020 and resetting the watch. I have verified that all devices have ample storage and that the iPhone iOS is up to date. I also have verified the strength of the internet connection. I have unpaired and reset the watch multiple times and tried to update from just the watch itself. Nothing seems to work and I keep getting the unable to verify update not connected to the internet message. Pretty frustrating as we just subscribed to Fitness+ and my wife can’t use her watch. Any other ideas? Thank you all.
