Amazon Music app not working on AppleTV

Suddenly the Amazon Music app won't play anything. It finds my library, recent plays etc, but whenever I try to play anything it just spins the "progress" wheel without playing anything.

Have tried:

restarting the device

deleting and reinstalling the app

I am running tvOS 14.4
