EPSON V39 Perfection

My EPSON v39 scanner does not work with Big Sur. I downloaded the new drivers for Mac OS 11.x from EPSON as instructed from its website. Nothing happened. The scanner cannot be identified by my iMac and MacBook. Anybody knows how to remedy this?

Brother scanner doesn't work after Ventura upgrade I have a 2017 Macbook Pro 13-inch, serial # FV***V22. I recently upgraded to Ventura 13.0.1 and now my scanner won't work. Previously I would got to System Settings, click Printers & Scanners, and click the Open Scanner button. Since the software upgrade, when I click the Open Scanner button, a new page opens with the name of my printer at the top (Brother MFC-J870DW) but nothing happens after that. I was able to use the scanner with an app (Brother iPrint&Scan) but regret the loss of innate scanner ability [Personal Information Edited by Moderator]

Did you download the ICA driver too?
