Does the Apple Watch connect to my bluetooth headphones to play music without my iPhone?

The purpose of my Apple Watch purchase was to use it for iTunes while I go on long runs. I no longer want to have to carry my phone with me. I run from anywhere between 5-10 miles. So my phone will not be anywhere near by. I want to use it like a classic iPod.
