Running 10.13.6. When saving as a draft an email containing photos the photos are gone, replaced by a message 'missing plug-in'. This only started today.
Have tried restarting Mail, then restating the iMac, neither works.
What does this message mean? What can be done about it?

Found a Java folder in the System Library and removed it, which worked.

Thanks, but I have already seen those, and I don't have Java in System Preferences.
Please re-read the article: it mentions that even if you do not have Java installed there is still a plist on your machine for it.
