Can iPhone have a wired ethernet connection?

Yes. It absolutely can. Use it without WiFi and use it without wireless. You'll need wires so get long ones so you can walk around.

You can it for messaging with a message app like Signal or What's App or Facebook. You can go online and basically do everything except traditional texting and calling.

  1. Connect Ethernet to either the WiFi, Router or Ethernet access point
  2. Use an Lightning to Ethernet iPhone Adapter
  3. Go To Settings and verify the connection when you see "Ethernet" just after WiFi
  4. Disable WiFi, Blue Tooth and Cellular and toggle Airplane mode. You'll have lightning speeds and no EMF radiation
  5. Use any app or Safari and you'll see TURN OFF AIRPLANE MODE OR USE WIFI TO ACCESS DATA--( (IGNORE THIS MESSAGE ) You may also encounter the "This accessory is not supported by iPhone" message. Ignore that too.

Here's a blog with a video and links to cables and the right adapters

Tip: Verify Connection: After you connect you'll see in the Settings panel between BlueTooth and Cellular, ETHERNET
