When and why did Apple change the way you upload videos to YouTube from FCPX? Recently you were able to publish direct to YouTube and now you have to select a location to save the video, then open a browser, then upload that saved file? Why did they take away the convenience of the direct upload???

That changed a couple of updates ago.
This is a user to user forum that Apple only moderates for violations of terms of use. No one here knows why Apple does what it does.
You can give Apple your feedback directly in FCPX by going to the menu Final Cut Pro > Provide Final Cut Pro Feedback . . .

Yeah I figured as much. I haven’t published to YouTube in awhile. Didn’t realize Apple didn’t monitor this. I’ll complain to them lol
When did Apple remove the direct to YouTube upload? That was so much more convenient.
