I was having issues with iCloud storage payment. Tech said it was a glitch and that I need to sign out of my Apple ID then sign back in. When I click sign out a pop up states that signing out will delete certain data on phone. (Attached photo) Mentioned it to Apple Service tech and he said “cancel! Don’t sign out!!!” After an hour and a half with no solution I had to hang up. So, do I sign out/back in? I’m still having “glitches”
Slide the 4 switches in the screen shot to the right to keep your data on the phone. Any data removed by signing out should sync back once you sign into iCloud again.

You are welcome. Check the Apple ID that signed into Settings/Your Name and Settings/Messages to make sure they are both signed into the same Apple ID.

Have you tried Settings/Messages/FaceTime and Settings/Your Name?
When I go there is says:
“you can receive iMessages to and reply from” and it shows my # and Apple ID.
Then below that is another one that reads:
”Start new conversations from” and it has the same info, my # and Apple ID.
The music was odd. It started playing when I clicked on the link in my email that sends me here. As soon as the browser opened music played and stopped when I closed browser. Wonder why? My email and browser were the only things running at the time.

Yes on that. That’s where I saw the “2 addresses tab. I just noticed another glitch. Find My Phone was turned off by me, and now it says it’s “on” but I clicking on off/on tab won’t work. Stays in on position.
Oh and FaceTime has the same credentials as I showed in iMessage/messages. But notice the top of screen says “allow null to access.” What’s that about? I’m so sorry Eric. Seams I’m finding new questions each time.
