how to update adobe acrobat on an older mac with newer software

I just updated my late 2013 iMac to Catalina, but now I can't use Adobe because it the developer didn't update. What do I do to use pdfs?

Hi vsk127,

You can update Adobe Reader from the official Adobe website, or just use the better Apple Preview app. Control click (right click) the PDF you wan to open > Open With > Preview.

Cheers,

Jack

Incompatibility is the Culprit:

If you need Adobe Acrobat, and it is not working on your macOS version, then you need to upgrade to a compatible version.
