external monitor brightness
I purchased an LG monitor to use an an extra monitor for my desktop. How do I adjust the brightness of this external monitor?

Use the brightness control buttons on the LG monitor.
My LG monitor has a single d-pad like toggle on the lower edge that when pushed brings up a control menu to turn the monitor on/off, change mode/settings, input, etc.
