IOS16 Siri stays activated permanently Ever since updating to iOS 16 (and now 16.2) whenever I ask Siri something I get my answer verbally and displayed on the screen as normal, but instead of Siri then disappearing off my screen after a few seconds, Siri just stays there forever. The circle at the bottom keeps twirling away and the information stays on the screen. I have to say “hey Siri dismiss“ or swipe up on my screen. This is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve checked all settings but there is nothing I can do to stop this from happening. Has anyone else experienced this? Apple, can you please please put it back to how it was? I won’t bore you with all the reasons this is extremely annoying. Imagine every time you ask a person a question, after they answer, you have to say, “hey John, dismiss.“

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. We want to help get Siri working as it should. Has your iPhone been restarted since noticing this issue?

Restart your iPhone

Also, did you try the steps in this article: If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone or iPad.
