iPhone 8 isn't the correct size.

I have an iPhone 8. It is supposed to have the same dimensions as an iPhone 6 . However, when I received my 8, it is MUCH smaller than my 6 . However, when I check the serial and IMEI number, it shows up as an iPhone 8!!!

"Both theĀ iPhone 6SĀ and theĀ iPhone 8Ā have theĀ same sizeĀ of bezels around the display andĀ sameĀ overall shape, and their screens are theĀ same sizeĀ andĀ sameĀ resolution."

Here are the dimensions of an iPhone 8:

H: 138.4 mm (5.45 in) W: 67.3 mm (2.65 in) D: 7.3 mm (0.29 in)Ā 8Ā Plus: H: 158.4 mm (6.24 in) W: 78.1 mm

(3.07 in) D: 7.5 mm (0.30 in)

For an iPhone 6s:

6S: 138.3 mm (5.44 in) H 67.1 mm (2.64 in) W 7.1 mm (0.28 in) DĀ 6SĀ Plus: 158.2 mm (6.23 in) H 77.9 mm (3.07 in) W 7.3 mm (0.29 in) D

Can ANYONE make sense of this?

A 6S is not the same thing as an iphone 6.

They are different models.
