Notes Table Bug

Has there been any fix released for the table bug in Notes? The content in the tables in one of my notes has been deleted for a second time. The content was recovered the first time after I installed the latest software update on my iPhone at the time (iOS 14.4), but it has disappeared again and there is no software update to try to fix it. I have noticed that there have been lots of issues with this in the past, yet it still hasn't been fixed.

Em361,

Thank you for checking. If it was syncing with iCloud it wouldn't be saved in an iCloud backup.

Let's go to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > Notes and disable syncing. Restart your device and enable it again.

This may take some time to fully sync. Once your notes sync with iCloud again, check to see if the table appears.

Let us know the results.

Cheers!

Hello EM361,

It sounds like you are experiencing issues with notes on your iPhone. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.

First, let's verify your device is backed up and delete the Notes app using this article: How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Restart your device and download Notes again. Test to see if the issue persists.

If you are still having issue, can you provide a few more details? Are you syncing notes with iCloud? Do you experience this with multiple notes or just one specific note? Also, is this note being saved on your iPhone or in iCloud?

Cheers!

Bailier,

Thank you for those details.

Do you know if that particular note was saved on your device or was being synced to iCloud?

We can check by visiting the iCloud website here: iCloud If your note isn't available. It may have been saved only the device.

If that is the case you can restore your iPhone from a backup to a previous point from when it was available: Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup

Keep in mind, anything added since then may not be restored.
