Mac mini M1 losing IP address

I purchased an M1 mini. All was great. Now all of a sudden, I lose DHCP from the wired side and then the machine assigns and APIPA (169.254.x.x). Renew DHCP Lease does NOTHING. The only thing that seems to work is disable the port then re-enable it. It will then work fine until it doesn't. Then rinse and repeat.

I called support and asked if there is a way to increase the verbosity level of the logs to see if we can identify something prior to this occurring...... crickets.

Has anyone else seen this?
