I tried to erase the hard drive on my MacBook Pro 2011 I think. I followed the instructions on here and now when I start the computer, it starts with a white screen with a flashing folder with a question mark in the center. Can I fix this?

If you weren't trying to install an OS, the process was properly completed.
If you were or would like to now, go back into the recovery partition or DVD and run the installer.

If you just erased the drive, it's supposed to do that.
If you wanted to install an OS but didn't, see the second sentence above.
If you separately installed an OS, proceed as above, but go into the Disk Utility and run the First Aid or Repair Disk function if possible.
