Iphone overheated during video recording. Video saved as a file but will not play

My iphone overheated during a 2 hour long video recording. There is a file saved in my Library but the length is 00:00 and i cannot play it or send to anyone. Can this video be retreived?

iPhone 7 overheating, black blobs on screen Hi, My iPhone 7 heats up and crashes internet-connected apps. It heats up just below the back camera area, so not on the side where the battery is. A few growing irregular black blobs appeared on the display over the area that heats up the most, but I don't know if it's related to the overheating or the fact that the screen is also cracked and glitching. The blobs don't show up in screenshots. What is causing it to heat up, and are the black blobs related to the problem?

Hello emi291,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears that you had an issue with saving a video. Is that the only file that saved during the recording? Do you use iCloud photos? If so, you can check online at Sign in to iCloud to see if the video is saved there. Otherwise, you won't be able to retrieve the file.
