how do I flip a video horizontally on Macbook?

I am a lefty knitter and want to be able to flip images and videos. How can I do this on my MacBook Air (latest M1), using Safari?

This is NOT about "mirroring" using AirPlay.

Just want to see images flipped horizontally.

An application such as Preview should be able to rotate

or change view direction within controls available there.

Other image editors can be more extravagant or optional.

I've used various included Apple software with Macs for

decades. Some have gotten much better in general. A

few were excellent in their day, but were dropped.

thanks for the info, but how would I open a YouTube video, for example, with Preview? I'm on a webpage using Safari. I don't want to modify or edit anything other than a temporary flip of the video or image.

On Chrome, there are several extensions available that allow you to open a video and flip it ("Video Mirror" or "Flip This"). That's what I was asking about, for Safari.

The table of contents for Preview does not mention videos.

Sorry about that! The native Preview application does more than text

but not video. ~ Mirroring video from YouTube (google) may require a

search of some depth; especially with a newer M1 Apple. While some

things just work, finally in Big Sur, that may still be unconventional.

YouTube has options to run differently in iOS for iPad or iOS iPhone.

For larger coverage of most things YouTube best look via Google, for

their interest in proprietary evolution there, would be more in focus.

There is/was feature to enable 'picture-in-picture' with YouTube in Mac..

What worked within Intel-based Mac, maybe not-so-fast in Apple Silicon.

Integrated-applications within Big Sur may have several features I've

not encountered. Since my Macs range in their OS from "pre-OS X"

'Mac OS8' through macOS 10.14.6. Or across several build decades.

Several valid ideas may be forthcoming.

..Sorry to waste our time here..

Good luck & happy trails!
