Siri is now asking ‘Did you mean....?’

Siri is now asking ‘Did you mean....?’ when I ask her to call, not all, just certain contacts. This just recently started after one of the recent updates. It’s a pain to pull over and stop driving when you’re being safe and using Siri!

I’ve tried the settings, Siri and in notifications, but that doesn’t mean I fixed it, obviously.

PLEASE advise!

Did you ever find a solution? I am having the same problem. When I ask Siri to call "the office", Siri replies, "Did you mean 'The Office'"? My typical response is, "Isn't that what I just said?"... she always misses the sarcasm. It is quite frustrating, so again, did you ever find a solution? Like you, this just started fairly recently.

Thanks in advance...

Hello pitdoug1998,

It sounds as though Siri is asking for confirmation of a command such as when asking to make a call. With the prompt you're receiving this can appear if you have multiple contacts with the same or similar names, or if Siri is needing a more clear command. This can be expected, but may be improved by disabling, and re-enabling Hey Siri to re-do the set up commands.

If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone or iPad

Use Siri on all your Apple devices

Have a wonderful day!
